Branded - Book Review

I didn't hate this book but I'm not sure I loved it either. It was a little underwhelming for me personally in terms of the plot but the ending did make up for that. I liked the characters, they were mostly well-developed and I'd be interested in reading the next part of the story. Some of the wording in the spicy scenes did make me cringe a little, he was constantly "slurping" ... "drinking it down like a waterfall" and there was some mention of him "constantly leaking" which made me think he might need to see a doctor and she made a puddle on the floor at one point. A little unbelievable that as a FMC with no experience she's able to squirt every time and easily seems a little much and don't get me started on the use of the word "daddy" but that's mostly just on one scene. I'm not here to yuk anyone's yum but personally that isn't for me. I've read dark romance before, I've read cowboy romance before but this was my first dark cowboy romance and I would say it's worth a read if you want something a little more substantial and darker than Elsie Silver.
